Yellow-rumped Warbler

The yellow-rumped warbler has quickly become one of my favorites. Probably because they are so difficult to photograph, and when you finally get a good picture of one, it makes it all that more special.
The walking trail at the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to see these quick little birds as they dart around from tree to tree, catching insects (and avoiding having their picture taken).
I'm learning to be more patient while photographing smaller birds and I'm happy to have come away with some clear photos of these delightful little birds!
