Lake Siskiyou in Mount Shasta, California... If you look closely you can see Castle Crags in the distance.
At first, I thought these were ducks, but after I saw them air out their wings, I realized they are double-crested cormorants...
They almost look prehistoric...
The outlines on their feathers are quite beautiful...
And here's another great blue heron we saw...
